ART
- Garden of Praise Paintings with information about the artist. Other Christian resources as well.
- National Gallery of Art for Kids This site has great resources and activities for students. Artist information and interactive activities make this site one you will want to bookmark!
- Abe Lincoln Mosaic Neat Art project of celebration of Lincoln's Birthday.
- Claymation Here is a tutorial on how do claymation.
- Photojojo Neat idea for photography lesson. Other ideas if you navigate other areas of the website.
- Snowflakes Print out sheets with patterns for snowflakes. Lots to choose from.
Language Arts
- Internet Public Library The library has made it onto the Internet. Once at this site, go to KidSpace or TeenSpace for activities and online reading for your students. Science Fair resources are also available.
- Wordle Fun with words! Add your own text and see what happens! You will definitely have fun with this one! Discover the possibilities this site has to offer.
Math
- Math Games This is a great site for educational fun! My students love this site and use it at home. I have found I, too, enjoy it!
- Fun Math Help This site is linked through the previous site as well. Here you can find flash cards and more reinforcement activities. Great for 3rd through 5th grade.
- Fun Math Help, TOO This site is also linked through the previous two sites. This site would be more for the older, COOLer math students. Help for pre-algebra through geometry can be found here.
- Pictographs Here is a tutorial on how to make one. Could be used for student use as well.
- Road Sign Math Fun idea using road signs! Check it out!
- Excel Lessons Printable handouts for students to use.
Science
- Science Resource Page Education World has compiled this list and a description of each site. Various grade levels and activities are listed.
- Sites for Elementary Students Various sites and descriptions of each. This is geared more for K- 6 students.
- Lessons Large collection of lessons for K-12 classes.
- Astronomy Excellent site for studying astronomy.
- CSI Useful when studying genetics and DNA.
- Insect Identification This one is for, well, insect identification! :)
- Pendulums Again, this one is about exactly what it says-- Pendulums.
- Shedd Aquarium Educational and interactive links. Shedd Aquarium information as well.
- Periodic Table Helpful information for students!
Social Studies/ History
- Map Resources This site has great resources for Geography. Just search the site for Maps!
- White House History A great resource for any teacher studying the White House or government. Check out the classroom section. Grade appropriate lessons and great pictures.
- Panoramio Here is another map tool using pictures.
- American Memory Collection Lesson for you to use. This site uses photos from the American Memory Collection.
Music
- Theory and Practice This site has a lot to offer. Online quizzes, worksheets and resources.
- Top 10 Here is a Top 10 list of great music websites. This is a word document. Links within the document take you where you want to go.
- Music Ed This site had lots of information, free downloads and a place to connect with other music educators. It also had some great info on composers.
Computers and Technology
- Integrating Technology into the Classrom This is a textbook resource. Whether or not you have the book, educators can still benefit from this resource. Website list, ideas, and some how to's!
- Microsoft Education Site Lesson Plans, integration, and ideas all from Microsoft Office.
- Kids' Zone Graphing tools as well as other useful information for kids.
- Web 2.0 tutorial This is for educators to learn more about blogs, wikis, and other Web 2.0 technologies available.
- Scholastic Keys Using Scholastic Keys? Here is the website, you can find lots of lesson ideas here!
- 100th Day Project Ideas for what to do on your 100th day of school.
- Winter Wonderland Online project starting in December. Check in November for information on participating or to just get ideas!

- PE Central This website has lots to offer. Find lessons or post lessons. Games, activities and handouts.
- PE resources Here is the place to start when looking for PE information and resources. Lots of great sites.

- Updates and Info Here is a way to stay updated on all the latest in PE!
